【Product Introduction】
AP-107 Nano Zinc Oxide Powder is a new high-functioning ultra-fine inorganic product with the particle diameter 20 to 40nm or called ultra-fine ZnO. Due to ultra-fine size, specific surface is rapidly increased, causing nano ZnO surface effect, small size effect and macro quantum tunneling effect which its raw bulk materials don’t contain. Therefore, it gives nano ZnO special properties and applications on magnetism, light, electricity and sensitivity that ordinary ZnO can not match.
The energy gap of ordinary ZnO is 3.2eV and corresponding absorption wavelength 388mm. When the particle size is smaller, its energy gap increases to over 4.5eV due to quantum size effect, enabling better absorption of UV in order to screen UV.
